UPFD Grabs 1st at the NHRA/Garrett Sport Compact Nationals in Las Vegas  Under
Pressure Fabrication and Distribution would like to thank the NHRA and
Garrett for the recent Sport Compact Nationals in Las Vegas, on the weekend
of July 17th, 2004. The event saw a huge turnout of both racers and fans,
and we were happy to be in attendance. It was also reassuring to see that,
as time goes on, the Toyota Supra Turbo does not die! Supras were in attendance
at Vegas, and we're sure that they will be for years to come. We'd also like to give a special thanks and congratulations to Dana Westover, whose Supra qualified fastest in Sport RWD with a staggering 9.9 second pass, with the help of our very own UPFD motor plate and flex plate, as well as custom shocks. Due to an unfortunate incident, Dana was unable to run the Elimination rounds, but we're sure that if he did, he'd have given us quite a run for our money! Most importantly, we'd like to congratulate Jason Siebels for his tremendous first place finish on Saturday. After three days of blood, sweat and tears, we finally reaped the reward for hours spent on the dyno, and burning soles on the hot surface in Vegas! Thanks to UPFD's updated motor plate, Jason was able to run the GM 4L80E transmission, giving him a fourth gear, and allowing him to drive the car from California to the Vegas race. Jason drove the car straight onto the dragstrip, and laid down times just over ten seconds (10.25s).

1st Annual Orange County Supra Sports Car Rally Under Pressure hosts the first annual Orange County Supra Sports Car Rally. The event had a great turn out with some of the best Supras California has to offer. Thanks to everyone who made an appearance and see you next year.
