Under Pressure Research and Development was created in 1997 to serve as a knowledge base for the import performance inthusiast, and to be the definitive place to go for custom work on high performance import cars. In less then one year, UPRD had succeeded in this goal, having developed a comprehensive inventory of performance parts and a crew of expert mechanics. Soon, class victories in everything from the IDRC to the Pikes Peak International Hillclimb became a reality for Under Pressure.

Since 1997, the import performance scene has grown at a rate fast enough to amaze every car enthusiast in the nation, and Under Pressure has grown to meet the resulting increase in demand over the years. In late 2003, Under Pressure saw it's most dramatic facelift to date, resulting in new management, a bigger storefront, and most importantly a new name - Under Pressure Fabrication and Distribution.

A new mission statement has been established as well. The central emphasis here in UPFD is on customer satisfation. We want each and every person to walk into the shop with wide eyes, and boost home with a satisfied smile on their face. We want to establish new, personal relationships with our customers and to cultivate existing friendships. In attaining these goals, we will continue to be the most comprehensive source for exclusive aftermarket parts, services and custom solutions for the automotive industry.
